The chains that bind humanity

Young-Deok Seo makes a statement about the repetitive, monotonous, machine-like way we often walk through life. Using chains the Seoul based artist welds figurative sculptures that are purposefully unfinished as a way to express the “incomplete nature of modern day humans”. Amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!

Ingenious!!! Great concept. Unique. Bit like you really. Love it. Can this be seen in London? Didn’t see a location, only that it’s a Seoul-based artist.

Hey Jason, unfortunately I don’t think you can. His solo exhibition ‘Dystopia’ took place at the INSA/Arko Art Centre in Seoul from 26 October 2011 until 31 October 2011. Hoping to see him here soon! I’ll take the unique comment as a compliment :) . See soon.
